More Information One evening, the mysterious subterranean world and the immaterial world of dreams met. In 1994, the sculptor and composer Oscar Wiggli asked himself how sounds work in a huge cavern filled with methane gas at a pressure of 100 bar. Together with Hartmut von Tryller, Managing Director of SOCON Sonar Control Kavernenvermessung GmbH, and acoustics expert Reinhard Wildner, who developed the BSAK Wiggli 1 acoustic probe, Wiggli carried out the “GUAREC” experiment in Huntorf.
