Prakla-Seismos AG developed and built sonar systems from 1967 onwards, at the request of Akzo Nobel in the Netherlands. Hartmut von Tryller, who had worked in the cavern business at Prakla-Seismos AG since 1973, founded SOCON Sonar Control Kavernenvermessung GmbH in 1991 as part of a management buy-out. Spinning off from Prakla-Seismos AG and taking over the existing technology and staff, SOCON was created – a service company specializing in the monitoring of caverns and cavities.
Here you find our partner companies for the planning and construction of caverns and special measurements.
